Two Problems: A Rattle and a Leak 850 1996

Greetings Brickboarders:

Two problems I'd like to get some feeback on, if possible. Thanks in advance.

I drive a '96 850 wagon.

Problem 1: Recently while taking a tight curve I heard an alarming "thud" inside the left front door. Now my window doesn't go down all the way (all but an inch or so). No other symptoms. What's up with that?

Problem 2: My windshield washing system is malfunctioning. Instead of streaming through the two hood nozzles, the washing fluid sprays from the red-tipped valve under the hood. Is this some sort of blockage.

I'd appreciate any words of wisdom.
