CD Changer ... one of each 850 1995

We had a Volvo changer installed in our '95 base 850 wagon - I think we paid $270 on sale last summer from my dealer - glove compartment mount - no hassles evcept for loss of space.

Last year we also purchased a '95 base 850 sedan with a JVC changer in the trunk and a control head on the dash. The changer refuses to recognize that there are disks in it - it searches every one of the 12 slots but tells us that there are no disks in it. I even tried a couple upside down! I do know that I am loading the casette correctly as I did find a new model with the same casette.

I cannot get an operator's manual from JVC as they do not list the model or anything like it! They list thousands of manuals, but you cannot view them before you download them and the closest model # is a VCR! - mucho hassels in the guise of an unhappy spouse.

Good luck, compare your total cost to what you might get from a dealer.
