Turbo trouble- loss of boost pressure- defective CBV? 850 1995

I have a 95 850T and am loosing boost pressure to what I think is a defective CBV. Is it possible to upgrade the turbo if I have to take it off anyway to repair the CBV. I thought I had read something about upgrading to a S70 T5 turbo? Will this just bolt on my 850? Forgive me if this has been discussed lots of times, the search feature on forum doesn't seem to be working for me so I can't search on the subject.
