**CORRECTED POSTING** Failed emissions test 850 1997

My 1997 Volvo 850 GLT with B5254T (turbo) engine has 100,000 miles on it. Today it failed an Illinois emissions test (hydrocarbon reading was .96 grams per mile versus standard of .60 GPM). My check engine light had been on, so I took it to my local AutoZone store for a free OBD scan and reset. Here are the Diagnostic Trouble Codes and Definitions I received:

P0116: Engine Coolant Temp CKT Range/Perf
P0455: EVAP Emission Control System Leak (Large)

Any suggestions out there on what I can do to pass the emissions test without taking the car to a repair technician?
