Can a question attrat lightning?

We just had a summer storm pass near us, hence the title.

I have been reading this and the RWD forum for several months now, and I have garnered a good deal of information and I hope that I may have helped a fellow brickster.

The question

I have noticed a lot of simple requests for information that go unanswered.

Is this because no one knows the answer or is it because some of the better trained and more experienced Volvo fans are getting a little tired of answering these simple questions that seem to come from people who want others to do the grunt work for them and not even bother to read their owner's manual or search the FAQ or archives?

Please no flames, I intend this to be constructive, and it took me a good deal of time before I searched out some pretty simple problems on my own, particularly for my RWD bricks.
