94 850 Turbo -Blown Engine -need advice 850 1994

Hello volvo-ites

Recently I "spun a main bearing" most likely from "a problem with the thrust washer" which my mechanic beleives is a long term result of a front end crash a few years ago.
Another words my engine is toast.

Because this happened without any warning and because other engine replacements that I know of havent lasted (non volvo), I am hesitant to replace the engine.

So then my question is : What is the value of this car?

It has 127,000 mi's on it and is in good condition.

If I "part it out" will I get any money for it?

I may trade it in to a used Volvo lot for a 240 wagon - What would be an acceptable trade in value?

Any other thoughts on how to get some money out of my poor dead 850 would be appricated.
