I'm thinking about buying a 1999 XC AWD V70 and am not sure whether it is a good vehicle. I've heard horror stories about the need to have precision conditioning oon the tires to prevent viscous shift wear, etc. Were the problems from the 1998s ever repaired in the 1999s? The car will be driven approximately 6000 miles a year and will probably only see snow 1-2 times a year. Is the XC all hyoe and is the V70 GLT the way to go? Any response would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, all...
