The remotes usually last a long time so they're replacement's not as common as you'ld think. The alarm system is not really made by Volvo either so it's not the best alarm system ever made. You can try those found on Ebay but there are several different remotes for a few years which look the same but have different PNs, frequencies so it's possible that you could by one that simply won't work as that can happen at dealerships too (the parts guy gives out the wrong part yet it looks identical).
