Yes, another synthetic oil question... hows about 20W50 Amsoil w/ dual remote? C70 1999

Ok, normally I don't throw my hat into the ring on this one, but it's a new car to me so I've got new questions. I heard some rumors about Mobil 1's changes that got me a bit worried, I used to use 10W30 Mobil 1 in my '91 780. Now with this '99 C70, the previous owner says he used 20W50 Castrol Syntec. I've been thinking about going to Amsoil for quite some time based on user reviews and such. Also, I'm thinking about the dual remote system... one pass thru filter and one bypass filter. I know they make a 20W50 full synthetic as well. From what I understand, it's a good idea to stick to the same weight oil once you start running one consistently (although with synthetic it's supposed to make less of a difference). I'm a bit overdue on my next oil change so I need to do something quickly. Any advice would be most helpful! Thanks!
