Sterring Wheel vibration 850 1997

I've recently bought a 97 850 wagon. I've upgraded the wheels and tires (Bridgestone RE950's on 16" Mille MM112 wheels) and now I have a vibration through the steering wheel at around 65 mph and up. My mechanic does not see anything wrong with the front end so know I'm trying to figure out what it could be. Could a tire be out of balance and cause this...do you think Tire Rack could of improperly balanced a tire before shipment? How about a bad belt in a tire...but wouldn't that be noticeable at all speeds?
Any ideas?
