Poor Track Performance, AGAIN!

Well, made 3 runs at the track tonight, Bla, Bla, Bla!

16.05 @ 87MPH
15.60 @ 89 MPH
15.56 @ 89 MPH

What is the deal! My 98 XC with the IPD ECU and 2000 R dual Exhaust ran 15.40's @ 89 MPH, I now have added:

Ported and Polished intake and exhaust manifolds
Bored TB
Reverse flow I/C piping
Mag. Wires
Bosch super 4's plugs
180 deg thermostat
IPD ECU
2000 V-70 R exhaust
EA HPO Ignition
K&N Panel filter

Well, I am at a LOSS! I have never gone backward like this before when modding a car? The Magazines rated the 98 XC @ 15.90 at 89 MPH BONE Stock! $3000 later I am only .4 seconds quicker and NO MPH improvement!

Any ideas what parts are not working in harmony? Anyone else done similar mods to their car with better results? I am grasping for some order from the disappointing results! Several have said it is the AWD system killing the performance, BUT it should show some improvements!

I might disconnect the rear drive shaft to run in FWD only and see how that does........ Angry at the "claimed" HP gains which were not realized with this car!

Tomorrow I will purge the sadness with a 165+ MPH pushrod blast!
