So far, so good here S70 1998

I have yet to see one customer return with a bad replacement ABS control unit so I'd assume that the replacement part is better. I believe that whatever's causing the original failures (not necessarily bad solder joints which is so far been rumored speculation here) has been repaired with the newer units.

Being that many who've been to the RWD forum here have seen the zillion threads about re-soldering the simple fuel and/or OD relays, I think many then jump to the conclusion that all Volvo control units can be simply repaired with more solder yet I doubt there's much truth to that idea.
