noisy valves? 850 1994

my valves have been noisy from about mile 175,000. I'm now over 250,000k and they're still noisy, but the car runs fine just the same. Also, injectors tend to make a clickety clack which is sometimes confused with valve noise. I had my oil pressure checked mostly for peace of mind some 20k miles ago and it tested just fine. I'll worry about my valves when they hit me in the head, I guess. Meanwhile, the tech I spoke with that checked my oil pressure said he'd be happy to replace the lifters (which make the noise) at 50 bucks a pop times 20 plus labor, but he recommended not bothering.
Bottom line, keep your oil clean and changed.
