Shocks 850 1994

It's an easy and straight forward job. Step-by-step instructions at Volvo Speed:

http://www.volvospeed.com/Mods/Bilstein_rinstall.htm

They are installing Bilsteins, but any shock would be the same. The only difficult part is removing the nut at the top of the shock that holds it to the shock mount. It's recessed rather deeply into the shock mount. If you have a box end wrench with quite a bit of off set, you might be able to get that down in there. Otherwise, you can probably get it with an open end wrench. I did the initial loosening of the bolt before removing the shock mount from the car so that it was solidly anchored while I was breaking the nut free.
