Hesitating on Acceleration from stop 850 1993

My 93 850 GLT every once in awhile will hesitate when accelerating from a dead stop. It doesn't happen all the time, some days are worst then others. At a stop light when I go to take off I will press down the gas and nothing will happen for a second or two then it kicks in or it will start to take off and then kind of cut out a little then kick in. Sometimes I can press the pedal all the way to the floor and the engine doesn't rev or anything for that split second. It doesn't seem to matter if it is cold or hot. Does anyone know what might be wrong with my car?
