2-3-2 seat belt error code 850

Well, here we are almost two weeks later and I still don't have my car. The dealer received a replacement wiring harness for it yesterday and, lo and behold, the part has been updated in such a fashion as to be incompatible with the original components. Volvo reps are at the dealership attempting to figure out what to do and are contacting other Volvo personnel about how the heck to fix this thing. It may be necessary to replace other associtated components. The service manager's comment to me was something akin to "Who is going to pay for this?" Well, I guess that remains to be seen.

If anybody has any experience with this problem, I would really appreciate some feedback. There hasn't been a single reply to my message of 8/15 so I'm gathering that my problem is unique.
