How high can YOU get your turbo gauge to go??? 850 1995

Sustained boost, sounds roughly about right; if it's low it's only slightly so, You should be able to get bursts and spikes with higher readings. Here are the results I get according to the aftermarket VDO boost gauge I have installed in my S70T5 with automatic transmission.

Normal sustained max boost: 9-10 psi (maybe halfway or a little more into the white zone of your oem gauge).
Boost spike: 18 psi under certain conditions (already going 50mph when I torch it to pass a truck)
Start-up until about 25 or 30 mph: 5 psi

The ECU in my car is very aware of what the operating conditions are, and regulates boost accordingly. Unlike 97 850 with hi-pressure turbo and manual gearbox, I can't spin out as the boost is initially limited. When I'm already doing 50 and go to pass another vehicle, I am rewarded for my assertiveness with an 18psi spike and an exhilarating ride for a few seconds.
