1998 V70 Service Light reset using www.obd-2.com software V70-XC70 1998

If anyone has had success reseting the service reminder light using www.obd-2.com software on a 1998 model, could you please share what procedure/settings worked for them? (I am using the latest version, and am able to connect to the ECU OK, but going to status/enhanced/reset gets hung up with a "scanning all interfaces" window.)

I'm using the black tape method until I get this to work!
