What year, model? 850

If it's a '96 850, you most likely have a wiring related problem that your dealer guys know all about, yes (not terribly expensive to fix either btw).

The '98 X70s are yet another problem....."control unit" and I have yet to see one X70 that had those lights come on that wasn't a bad control unit. It's to the point where it's almost safe to assume that if you see those lights come on in your X70, get a control unit. The good news is that the replacement control units seem better as I'm not seeing repeat problems with the same cars.
