..and maybe the problem will go away. I've been reading/participating on the BrickBoard for three years. I'm always amazed at why some folks just start swapping out parts when their cars aren't running right. It seems to me to be a VERY expensive and frustrating way to get it done.

Before replacing the fuel pump, did you run any diagnostics? Check it with a voltmeter? Or just switch & pray?

Now for some wild guesses. Crank position sensor. Cam position sensor. Please read the codes, and start from there.
