Bilsteins 850

Hi Jake

What type of Bilsteins did you use???

1: Touring Class (black color)

or

2: Heavy Duty (yellow color)

I installed the Touring class struts in the front on my 850 GLT Wagon (non turbo) and i did not feel ANY difference in the ride at all.

I orginally replaced the original struts hoping my wagon would ride better on rougher roads but it did not. The ride is awesome on smooth roads but on rough ones watch out!!!

I also replaced the tires and the rear shocks with Boge OEM shocks.

My suggestion and from what i have read, a sport spring on stiffens the ride considerably, sure you can take a turn fast but the ride would be horrible. A stiffer spring only make the car ride harder.

ALSO, how much difference did you feel when you did install the new Bilsteins?? Was the ride change so significant???? I am sure to think the original ones must have been totally worn out!!!!!

Any insight on your experience would be awesome

Thanks

Ali
