Acceleration S70 1998

I am not the one to race or the like. But yesterday late evening I was stopped at a red light in a rural area. Well what do you know, two little kids pull up next to me with that look, you know the one. It was some sort of souped up Honda with a spoiler so big I thought I was at the airport. Again, I'm not the type to have a heavy foot on the pedal, but this time I thought to myself, what the hell...lets see what this Swedish tank can do. The light turned green, I heard their tires screachhhh, I then floored my little lady and felt the G forces tug me in to the seat. They were a car length ahead of me for about two seconds when all of a sudden the Swedes turbine spooled up, I was pushed even further in to my seat, and I swear I flew past them like some sort of F1 rocket car. I was not aware of the acceleration of this thing until last night....WOW, I love my S70. You should have seen thier faces. Mommas tank flying past those kids. Oh well. I did not buy this thing for power, but it is certainly nice to know it is there when you want it.
