Need advice for 850 repaint 850 1995

Could anyone help me spec. quality requirements for a replacement paint job on my 1995 Volvo 850?

Industrial fallout (containing sulfur dioxide and who knows what else) from a local smokestack caused black freckles and pockmarks in my 850's paint. The polluter's insurer has a re-paint program with local body shops but I suspect their standards won't be up to Volvo original paint quality. If I could get a description of what the paint job needs (paint quality, painting methods, etc) to get as close as possible to original paint quality then I'll be prepared to deal with the insurer. Any advice would be appreciated. Any references to factory paint methods with contact people at Volvo would be a bonus. I'll post the outcome after the dust (or fallout) settles. Thanks in advance, and steer clear of smokestacks.
