ABS & TRACS Light on together- Why? 850 1996

I am having an intermittent problem with my 96 850. The ABS and TRACS lights come on together but after most restarts reset themselves and might not come on for minutes, hours, days again. It is an intermittent problem as the lights never stay on permanently. Is there a sensor or wiring issue here, or is my ABS system on the way out?

Anybody else experienced this?
