ABS control module failure is the likely explanation S70

Turning off TRACS won't turn off ABS. My guess is the sensors failed because the axles got spun up too fast with no load on them...and would have in real life, too, if the drive axles could ever get going that fast. Probably turning off the car, waiting a few seconds, and restarting would in most cases have gotten it re-set.

But if the lights stay on, and it's a 96 or a 98, it's almost certainly the control module.
