Ahh yes, yet another ABS thread here? 850 1996

A '96 850 can have one of two or even both problems. One first needs to read the codes as if they're front sensor codes, it's a wiring problem discussed in an old paper SB from '96 (#59-801 I believe ?) and if the codes are for rear ABS sensors like all the '98 cars, then it'll need a new control unit.
I have now seen a car that needed both, wiring fixed and a control unit.
'96 850s use the same PN ABS control unit SO they do go bad but not as frequently as the '98s (getting to be ac daily thing where I work now).
