clicking cv joint????? 850 1996

over the last few weeks my 850 t5 '96 has began making a strange clicking noise from the front left wheel, it's most noticable when braking and turning left or right but it doesn't happen as much if braking in a straight line or turning and not braking.

the outer cv and has been chenged on the side the noise is comimg from aswell as the brake discs & pads front and rear.

could the inner cv on be shot because it was very noisy when i had the front end off the ground and the wheels turning in 1st gear, the other side was dead quite.

i don't have any other probs with my car and i would like to get this sorted asap so any help would be handy. thanks
