How do you break in to a Volvo?

Maybe I should clarify a little.

I came out to my Volvo this morning and checked out the entire vehicle,(As always) and everything looked just fine. When I opened the driver's door I noticed what looked like a drill hole on the inside of the door frame. The hole was located just under where the bottom of the window and the top of the door meet. I was puzzled. No marks on the outside of the car (No scrathces or dents) to indicate that someone was drilling the inside of the door and everything inside of the car(My personal belongings) were untouched.

I also must say that I am very religious about cleaning my car (Washing the car Sunday morning instead of going to church) and I have never noticed this hole before. I'm a little confused about how it got there and concerned about what caused it.

Does anyone know how people break in to these cars besides smaching windows, etc. You don't have to go into great detail...We all want to keep our Volvos.

Thanks for any input
