Never Again 850

Have to agree with you.

Had mine since new. It's been babied all the way. And still, dozens upon dozens of issues.

From my experience, the 850 series has a horrible reliability record. It's funny, nothing that will leave you stranded, just stupid little bug, after stupid little bug.

Just installed a block heater in preparation for winter. Guess what. Uses safety wire. Most car mechanics don't even know what safety wire is. It is one of the most archane, antiquated, labor intensive methods of locking a fastener. It is the most reliable method of locking a fastener, but my God, who in this day and age designs a component for an automobile which uses safety wire.

Unbelievable.
