PROBLEMS ON 855 T5 - 1994 / OIL CONSUMPTION / ENGINE CUTTING OUT/LAMBDA LIGHT ON 850

GOT A SERIOUS OIL CONSUMPTION PROBLEM WITH MY CAR. WASTES ABOUT 1LT EVERY 1500/2000 KM.
IS THIS NORMAL?
THE SPARKPLUG OF THE MIDDLE CILYNDER IS CRUSTED WITH WHITE DEPOSITS, ALL THE OTHERS ARE OK. COULD THIS MEAN A BAD CILYNDER?
ALSO, THE LAMBDA SENSOR LIGHT TURNS ON.
MOST OF THE TIME THE ENGINE RUNS OK, FEW TIMES IT CUTS OUT FOR A FRACTION OF A SECOND, SOME SECONDS, IT LOOKS TO ME THAT THIS HAPPPENS WHEN ACCELERATING UP HILL AND WITH HOTTER ENGINE.
DOES ANYBODY EXPERIENCED SIMILAR PROBLEMS, OR HAS AN EXPLANATION FOR THIS?

GRATEFUL FOR YOUR ANSWERS.
