I have to agree on the e-code lens replacement, although, only because the regular lens is pathetic...

I was at an outdoor partly this past Saturday evening, and happened to see a new Chrysler minivan drive by. There was a distinct band of light extending nearly straight up into the trees. I couldn't believe how much light was "washing" the trees. That has to be a significant reason why people want more light.

I have posted here before about the Sylvania star light bulbs. They are about $24 each and I installed one at a time and tested them over the course of a few months... the old lights looked "brown" when compared to the newer beam and the beam pattern was spread laterally as opposed to the single point of light cast by the old style bulb.
