Advice Needed 850

Marcus,

I absolutely Love my 1995 850 Wagon and 1999 S70 Sedan. Both are non turbo and 5 speed manuals. (a true European car!) Anyway, I have had Zero, I mean zero problems with either. My S70 with 90K still has the original brake pads!!!. I have only replaced some lightbulbs and changed oil filters etc. and I put on Bilstein shocks.

The 850 was bought used with 60K on it. So far has been a tank. Has 116,000.

There seem to have been some common problems that have come up with these cars like the evaporator going on the AC (Expensive about $800) but as far as longevity I have personally seen one at my dealer with 320K and going strong..Daily driver. On ebay I have seen MANY with an excess of 200K on them.

Well, good luck, hope you can joing the club.

John.
