Seat Latch 850 1995

I have a problem with the passenger rear seat latch. I can't get the seat to unlatch and lay down. The indicator shows unlocked, but the seat doesn't budge. *Ok, I went out and gave it another go, and got the seat to go down. I put it back up, and encountered the same problem. I don't want to have to screwdriver the lock every time I need the seat down. Any info on repairing this? TIA
