shocks/struts 850 1994

I haven't replaced shocks/struts on my car yet but when I do I'll likely go for a similar ride to stock. Softer if I can get it. For a start, go to

http://www.ipdusa.com and search their AWD or FWD listings for choices. I just received their mailer and they carry all the brands I mentioned. It sounds like the Boge Touring Class might be something to look into.

Replacing rear shocks is relatively straight forward but front struts should be left to someone with experience if you're a novice DIY mechanic. If you have a friend who has actually done it before ( and not just read how ) and access to spring compressors you might enlist their help )

If you don't have one already I suggest buying the Haynes manual for the 850s. Available at auto parts stores, it ain't perfect but it's a very good source of information on repair and maintenance.

Also, if you're running on 16" wheels you might consider 15s" as the ride will be much improved.

Cheers,
