GM trans S80

That GM trans also has a filter like all other GM trannies which should be replaced by 60K miles IMO. I remove the pan and replace the filter, install new pan gasket then flush the rest of the fluid. The S80s need to have the lower trans cooler line removed to flush it, unlike the other FWDs which use the upper line. The S80s also hold more ATF so it's likely that you'll need about 16 qts to get all the dark fluid out.

As for plugs, the stock T6 plugs are platinum and easily last the 30K mile change interval too and are troublefree.
