My car, my problems 850 1993

Price seems high....I've never done one on a 850 before..I'm thinking they may include dropping the pan and putting new oil pump seals in, etc. The box itself can't be THAT expensive.

I know I'm Mr. Amsoil but with any good synthetic oil the breather box would never even come close to clogging - and I would think with petroleum oil changed at 3-4K, the thing just shouldn't have "clogged" either (hence the tone in my first post....but then again I've seen plenty of clogged red motor breather boxes).

Let me study the books, my car etc and get back at you on just how nasty the box alone should be to work on....
