Low coolant light coming on during hard acceleration.leak?? 850

I recently noticed the Low coolant light on the dash seems to be coming on if step on the gas hard or suddenly accelerate from a stop. ...the coolant was flushed last year after the coolant cap cracked..

I check the coolant resevoir and it was almost filled..

could there be a coolant leak in the car for the light to come on...water pump ??

what are the ways to check for a coolant leak or this light to come on.

Looks like the car is falling apart by the number of problems..

Is this a common problem..
