My car, my problems 850 1993

My suggestion.
If you're going to pay somebody to do the axle boots, have them go a bit further. Re and re the transmisison to replace the rear (side?) main seal on the engine. If the crankcase ventilation system (any link in that chain) is/was clogged, the rear main seal will leak soon. They're likely removing the transmission anyway for $400.

I don't know which motor mount they're diagnosed, but it's near the timing belt. If somebody is disassembling someting on the passenger side of the engine, again - go a bit further and to the Tbelt. On the 93's it's a tad narrower and the service life is shorter (50,000 miles). If it breaks, the engine damage is severe. Severe. Did I say it clearly. Severe. Replace the timing belt, especially if the service records are unclear on that.

Nice ride and the same colour as my 94 turbo wagon!

Cheers,

Paul N.
