Intermittent stalling and irregular idle speed - NEED HELP 400

My '89 440 Turbo has only 60.000 Miles. Today during a strong acceleration I have heard a 'boum' and after this the engine has intermittent stalling and irregular idle speed. After 40mph the car is shaking and no way to go faster. No particular noise. I have checked all mechanic parts and all seems OK. The rotor, distribution belt, etc, all are OK. Now I have noticed, when the engine is cold that starting the engine is very difficult and it will stall after several rotations.

Thank you for your help
