Anti-Sway bar Install Time? 850 1993

IPD is currently in the process of redeveloping their Volvo 850 sway bars. The previous ones weren't right, so they were recalled. In theory I hear IPD is going to release sway bars for the 850 in November or December if this development cycle suceeds. You'll have to wait like all the rest of us =)

The 850 sway bars are not terribly hard to install, but you do absolutely have to jack the car up. If you look under the car you'll find the S40 and the 850 are quite a bit different due to the delta link suspension in the 850s. The IPD sway bars do come with instructions. If you get an Haynes repair manual, there are also instructions about removing and installing factory sway bars, which may be a good reference for you.

Good luck =)
