ABS light S80 1999

Your car has a total of 15 or 16 individual control units. Each has it's own function, but they all talk to each other. ABS is electronic/hydraulic, and has it's omn control unit. The ABS system is responsible for reporting road speed to the eng, trans, speedo, radio, and climate control units. The ABS system is probably the cause of your check engine light as well. (I read your other post) Through the 01 model year, tha ABS module can be replaced without the need for software download.
