There has been a service bullitin as stated for resodering all sorts of junk in there and bad chrimps.

You might take the connectors of the module and clean them, I've never done it myself but I understand some people have luck with that. I'm not sure if that's just a quick/temp fix or not, but why not try before spending $400?
