Upper Engine Mount Gone @ 17K

My Upper Engine Mount bushing is gone with 17,000 miles on a 2001 S60 NA Manual. Looks like there is no improvement over the years, I would even think the new ones are weaker than the old ones based on my milage.

It is covered under warranty this time, but I guess Volvo don't get enough feedback to be able to improve this over the years. Most of the ones I know failed were at about 70K-90K miles. I am aware of the IPD version but I would hate any minute vibration on my car, I rather buy half a dozen and change every 20K miles.

Other than this, my car is doing absolutely great!

Just for the record.
