Waste Gate Adjustment - I know I know beat to hell BUT!!!

Worked well on my car! And like you said, instead of bleeding it out of the wastegate, shortening of the rod keeps it closed, thus giving you more boost. Regardless of ECU boost levels, I don't see how the ECU can compensate for keeping this boost, and resetting back to normal?! It may increase your top end PSI 1-2, but I didn't do it for max boost pressure, I wanted to decrease the turbo lag. Scott (IPD) gave me instructions on setting the wastegate after I got the power pack (ECU & Cat back). It involved a radiator pressure guage, which i didn't have, but I turned it 3 complete turns and have been happy! I spike at 18 PSI, with a steady 14 PSI. MBC's make me a little weary, and with the ECU upgrade, I don't see it being a needed or safe mod.
