Gas Odor 850 1994

Do you notice that you get this smell after you fill up your gas tank?

If so, I had a similar problem where I would get a strong gasoline smell after filling up the tank and letting the car sit in the garage overnight. Apparently, it's caused by a leaky seal by the fuel tank. After driving a few miles, the gas level drops below the leaking seal and voila, no gas smell.

You have to access this area through the trunk and remove the liner.
