Here's a summary of tire comments so far:

3 votes Dunlop SP Sport 5000 - quiet, excellent dry grip, good wet grip

1 vote Michelin MXV4 plus -quiet, smooth, lots of tread life not high performance but excellent in wet & snow, good family car tire

1 vote Michelin PILOT XGT H4 & Z4 - WOW, awesome on dry, excellent on wet & snow, quiet, seem to be wearing well, expensive, H rated tire not as smooth or quiet but good in snow and rain

1 vote B.F. Goodrich g-Force T/A KDWS - good all around tires dry, wet, snow and track

0 votes Michelin Pilot XGT H4 or XGT V4 - expensive, noisy when worn, harsh, excellent wet and dry, bad snow, poor tread life

0 votes Michelin MXV4 - noisy, lots of tread life, good wet dry and snow - would not buy again

0 votes Dunlop SP 8000 - wore out way too fast
0 votes Michelin Pilot Sport AS - not worth twice the cost
0 votes Pirelli P7000 - unbearably noisy
0 votes Toyo Proxes T1S - fun to drive, but the fun doesn't last long
0 votes Toyo FZ4 - a bit noisy, wore out fast

Michelin PILOT sport - only 2 months, excellent handling wet and dry

Michelin PILOT A/S - a "pin the passanger to the side window in a turn" tire
Michelin MXV4 Plus a more sane tire for average driving they are unbeatable, they just aren't made for cornering

Still no comments on the Fulda Assuro tire.

Thanks again for contributing your comments.
