high mileage 850 turbo 850

OK boys -

I need an helping hand here. I'm new to the board and I'm very interested in buying a used turbo wagon. It will be my second car mainly used in the winter and on the weekends.

What are the big items watch out for on these cars?

I'm currently looking at a '94 with 146 k on the clock. That seems a bit scarey to me. I know the timing belt was done at 70k and think its time for another one. Do the rear main seals go, the 4 speed transmisions? The guy only wants 2800 bucks for the car, so my gut says its a good deal. What do you guys think?

In general, I'm considering the 850 turbo vs. a Saab 9000 Aero. I'm hedging towards the Volvo for realibilty
