Vacuum Booster V70-XC70 2001

I find that my vacuum booster has gone bad in less than 1 year. Anyone else have a similar problem? This is my third Volvo, and the first to have this problem. Other than that this is a good ride. The V79 2.4 turbo has power in the range that I normally use it.
