Defective ABS Computers 850 1997

Does anyone know of any action being taken, i.e. petitions for recalls, etc., about the ABS Computer problem (TRACS/ABS Warning Light)? The latest talk I see on the board is from earlier this year. My 1997 850R (with it's brand new A/C evap) has been giving me an intermittent TRACS/ABS light for a while now. Initially, only once in a great while. Now it's on most of the time. My service center tells me that the computers are still on back order and recommended getting a petition going. I'm a loyal Volvo owner/driver, and I LOVE to drive my 850R, but if Volvo continues to ignore obvious wide-spread defects like this, they will not continue to enjoy such a loyal patronage. We need to get together on a petition to have Volvo start fixing and covering, AT LEAST some of the cost, of this defective ABS computer problem.
