Cutout in hard acceleration 850 1997

Nobody at the garage can tell me what's wrong with my car! The post below is from Brickboard in August--no replies that were real enlightening. The writer complains of exactly the same problem I have with my 850. I was wondering about Air Flow Mass sensor when somebody mentioned that a failed air pump can cause the MAF to fail.

Any ideas? I've already changed O2 sensor, fuel filter, re-setup turbo...

From Brickboard August 15, 2002: "What are the symptoms of a failing MAF sensor? I ask becauuse my '00 T-6 has started developing a strange "jerk" during hard acceleration, and at times I can also feel it while crusing or accelerating uphill. It does not happen too often, but when it does it feels as if I was intermittently pressing and releasing the gas pedal, while of course I am punching it all the way."
